The Ritual Bath: The First Decker/Lazarus Novel, by Faye Kellerman

What a delight!   A bit dated (1986), this is the first in Kellerman's series featuring LAPD cop Peter Decker and Rina Lazarus, an ultra-Orthodox widowed mother of two.    I am eager to read the entire set, in order.

Transfer of Power, by Vince Flynn

This is an older release, but was a fun read.   Lots of fun action, perfect vacation read.

The Sentry, by Robert Crais

This thriller features the enigmatic Joe Pike and his somewhat less conflicted buddy, Elvis Cole.   Pretty fun.

The Emperor's Tomb, by Steve Berry

This is one of the several low-brow action books I read on vacation.

Hardy fair, then, to complain about it being low-brow, somewhat of a slog, filled with plot contrivances...
